Guitar Pro has a huge range of features and is ease of use. Compared to other tablature, I was surprised at how quickly I was able to pick up keyboard shortcuts for adding and editing notes. One great feature is Guitar Pro 6 automatically detects the end of bars as you input notes. However, when you go back to edit a bar, it does so non-destructively, preserving the notation after that point. Other score writing apps tend to update in real time, which we’ve often found confusing. Notation’s only part of the program though. There’s built-in soft synth with realistic guitar, bass and drum sounds. With MIDI import, you can use it accompany you as you play – or arrange a song for your band with audio preview. There are even built-in effects and amp emulation to better match the sound you’re after. This is a must have program for all guitarists. (Frank Klien – USA)

If you liked the easy use of guitar pro 5.1. you can kiss that good bye. The real sound emulator has improved a ton. sounds great. but a few of the things that made Gp easy to use are gone. The drums you can tab nearly like you could before. so limited when it comes to options on that alone its not funny. a lot of the menus are sideways and hard to read. irritating to try to figure out with the new configuration. The ability to write the drums makes a huge difference to me. And maybe for a lot of others. If you are one of them. i am sorry to have to break the news to you. The easy to read layouts are gone. all it is now is a cluster of buttons not as spread out. it just feels like a big block with buttons. no way to get any sort of other looks or layouts like we could with 5.1. you only have the 6 look. Overall id say if you love the 5.1 worked, yeah maybe the sound could definitly be more real. but if that works for you and you like the way the drums and other things work. stick with that. 6 is a whole new animal…and not really an improvment. where they lacked they improved, and where they had something good, they messed it up. What exactly is Guitar e-nstructor?

What is different about Guitar E-nstructor?
In conventional systems, chord diagrams are figures that represent the guitar in a graphic way. Dots are then used to represent chords, but those systems fail in the most crucial part of all, they don’t tell you which finger plays what! And if they do, they have to add extra information that makes the diagram even more difficult to read. A very simple thing like a chord suddenly becomes more complicated.
Guitar E-nstructor tackles the problem by using a distinctive color for each finger. I like to call it subliminal information, because your brain magically absorbs it without even realizing it.

The same color principle is applied to scales. No more brain damage trying to learn complicated patterns. I break them down in small pieces called boxes that you can easily learn. Each box is a stand alone scale, so you can have fun playing solos even if you don’t know the entire fretboard. Black Drum Set with Cymbals Hardware Review

This is an ok drum set for a beginner. The cymbal is very cheap and after a while starts to bend if you keep hitting it in the same spot. Snare needs lots of tuning and rings when you hit a tom. The toms are good but I would recommend to get some moon gel (MG4 Moon Gel Drum Damper Pads) for them so that don’t ring as much. The bass is good if you put a wool sweater or blanket in it to lessen the ringing. The cymbal stand is ok but the nut to hold the cymbal on needs to be tightened once in a while. Purchased this set for my 11 year old son,which is taking advanced drum lessons.These have good quality mahogany wood shells,all stands are double braced,the Hi-hat and bass pedals have good quality chain drive. This is a complete set from throne to drumsticks. Great starter set! It will be hard to find a better set for the money anywhere! This set does come completly unassembled, but has a good website with a step by step video that makes assembly so easy that our son did most of the assembly his self.
