Shakira is an artist / POP star who sang the official song themes for the 2010 World Cup South Africa (World Cup 2010 South Africa) entitled Waka Waka (This Time for Africa). ‘Waka Waka’ meaning Now the Time for Africa, was chosen FIFA and Sony as the official song of World Cup 2010, written by Shakira, the Latin American singer. African artists were reportedly in protest. Fast tempo song with cheerful shades are thick with the sounds of traditional musical instruments of Africa, described the energy and joy that a new continent was first held this World Cup.
